Do fat dissolving injections work?

Let’s face it; we’re all looking for the quick fix to get rid of unwanted fat, but do fat dissolving injections really work? Or are we wasting our money on yet another “fad”? In short, the answer to the original question is “yes”.

Often these are areas such as the lower stomach, inner thighs or submandibular (double chin) region.
How does Aqualyx® work?
Aqualyx® works by causing an inflammatory reaction. This means after the injections there will be redness, swelling and the area can feel itchy and tender. Although these are all good signs that the treatment is working, it is important to consider when you have the treatment, especially if being done on an area that is visible and not easily covered with clothes!
How many treatments will I need?
Aqualyx® is generally administered as a course. Some patients may be happy with just the one treatment, however, most will need repeated treatments carried out at 4-6 week intervals.
Will the fat come back?
Aqualyx® is a permanent treatment. Once the fat cells are dissolved; they are dissolved and won’t come back. That being said, obviously this means maintaining your weight with diet and exercise. If following treatment with Aqualyx®, your diet is poor, you will undoubtedly start to lay down these fat cells again.
So, in summary…
