A cheeky bit of cheek filler!

Cheek filler is by far my favourite procedure. Not only is it quick and relatively well tolerated with little down time, but it also gives a beautiful refresh to the mid face whilst helping to lift the lower face! What’s not to love, and why is it not the most popular treatment request we have at Underlining Beauty?
I think the main answer to that is a lack of understanding from our clients. Unlike lots of other aesthetic procedures, cheek filler hasn’t had the same media attention. People, therefore, don’t see the benefits as readily as they may do when they consider other treatments such as botox or lip filler.
The other reason, I think, is that people are scared. Cheek filler is often regarded by clients of giving that “pillow cheek” look. And whilst this can happen, it doesn’t at Underlining Beauty!

The reason for why not, is because we spend time to evaluate our client and their skin type and decide on the best type of filler product and area for placement individually for our clients. Sometimes clients will need a lateral lift to their cheeks, sometimes a more medial lift and sometimes a bit of both, or overall contouring of the cheek area.
We use a combination of techniques using both needles and cannulas to ensure we deposit the filler exactly where will benefit our client. We will never over volumise the cheeks and make you not look like you! A little bit of filler to the cheeks can really help to restore that youthfulness to the face by giving the midface a boost and also helping to provide “scaffolding” for the tissues of the lower face. I am 100% a fan!
