Beautif-Eye, Lumi Eye and Nucleofill…the new names on the block when it comes to aesthetic treatments that target the eye area.

Why would we need to treat the eye area?

The peri orbital region is one of the areas of the face that is the first to show signs of ageing. For a long time now, it has also been a really difficult area to treat, with injectables having a very limited use. That was until recently. Because of it being renowned for being an area where many clients struggle with dark circles, hollows, bags, crepy skin and fine lines, the aesthetic industry have focussed their efforts into bringing new treatments to the market to combat these issues.

Which is the best for me?

Like with so many things in aesthetics, new products are always being brought to market and it is sometimes difficult to tell which are truly great products, and which are more of a “fad” that are well marketed. Unfortunately things such as social media so often give us unrealistic exceptions through their use of filtered or photoshopped images. This can be an issue for clients but also for aesthetic practitioners.

At Underlining Beauty we are keen to offer you the latest procedures in the injectable world, but we also want these to be procedures that truly work and give us the results we are looking for. It was for this reason, that after much research I decided to train in Nucleofill.

What is Nucelofill?

Nucleofill, like Profhilo, is in the “rejuvenation” category of injectables. It is all about getting your cells to wake up and do the job they should be doing. A lot of people are moving away from the perceived “fake” look that can come with dermal fillers, and instead of wanting to change the contours of their face, they want to look just like them but a fresher, less tired version.

This is where Nucleofill is perfect. Nucleofill is a polypeptide based product that works as a cell signalling molecule to help lift and hydrate the skin. It helps to rejuvenate the eye area by treating bags, puffiness, hollows and fine lines.

How does Nucleofill work?

It is typically placed using a cannula but sometimes a needle may be used in conjunction. It is not a product that stays in the skin long term like filler does. In fact, the product itself is completely eliminated from the skin within two weeks, after it has done its job signalling to all your own cells what job role it wants them to do.

So, if you are struggling with the under eye area and feel like it needs a boost, contact us today for a free no obligation consultation to see if Nucelofill could be the treatment for you!
